Part 4 of our series on goal setting…
I believe health and wellness form the foundation of a prosperous and happy life…
As Buddha said, “To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear”.
Try setting some goals relating to health and fitness, physical appearance or style, mindfulness, exercise etc.. such that you create a motivating force in your life to achieve these things… succeeding in this area will bring a flow on effect in other areas of your life so it’s definitely worth it….!

Episode 3 in a series on setting goals. This time we look at Recreation goals and give you some tips and insights on how to set goals in this arena of your life – this should be a fun process when thinking about where you want to go, what you want to see etc….
These tips will help you expand your mind into where you could go and what you could do..
And if travel isn’t already part of your goals here it should because travel really does expand your awareness about this amazing world.. as Mark Twain said.
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.”
Our second episode in a series on setting goals. This time I explore the area of Career/Job/Business goals and give you some tips and insights on how to approach this area of your life – and it’s a BIG area.
These tips will help you to get more out of your job, focus your career path or help you on the path to your own business.
Remember always ask yourself:
Where do I want to be, what do I want to have, what do I want to do… what do I want to become???
Here’s a great quote from Steve Jobs to remind you of your focus…
“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.”
The first in a series on setting goals, I take a look at the first area of Jack Canfield’s 7 Goal Areas: Financial Goals. We will discuss the others in the upcoming episodes.
I discovered these goal areas whilst reading Jack Canfield’s The Success Principles a few years ago. They are:
- Free time/Family time
- Health/Appearance (I like to use Health and Wellness)
- Personal Growth
- Making a difference (contribution to community)

Hello Freedom Engineers!
I’m into goal setting at the moment, something I haven’t traditionally done, but am finding it super helpful in building momentum and creating that positive mindset. Also inspired by other people who “get” the idea of going after your dream….
